Air quality and pollution control engineering systems. Air pollutant sources, emissions transformations, dispersion, fate, and impacts. Introduction to air quality and pollution laws, regulations, and permits. Control technologies including energy conservation, cyclones, electrostatic precipitators, fabric filters, absorbers, adsorbers, incinerators, and biofilters. BBE 3012 and 3043 or equivalent are recommended.
